Job Duties

  • Work with Global Brokerage Training team to develop the annual APAC Brokerage training plan, adopting best practice from the Global Training Team.
  • Work with Brokerage systems owners and Brokerage Operations to develop training content (i.e., Job Aids) and training materials based on MOP/LOP as well as Systems User Guides.
  • Conduct review of content and training materials that are created with relevant stakeholders.
  • Conduct “Train the Trainer” sessions to build a network of local training SMEs in the APAC region to support execution of the annual APAC Brokerage training plan to ensure the continuous development of Brokerage expertise.
  • Create training materials not limited to assessments to assess annual training effectiveness.
  • Support to monitor and identify training gaps base on industry best practice and recommend measures to address the training gaps identified.
  • Support Brokerage system enhancements (RFC) deployments by:
  • Creating, maintaining, and updating training materials onto UPS university as well as APAC Brokerage Training SharePoint site.
  • Support local language translation requirements.

Job Requirements

  • Possess a Degree in Business Administration, Customs Administration or equivalent/similar fields.
  • Display positive attitude with strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
  • Demonstrate good understanding of Brokerage systems or experience in Brokerage operations and compliance knowledge preferred.
  • Demonstrates good understanding of implementation objectives, project plan, and one’s role within a project; participates in the implementation of a project; provides timely, thorough, and concise updates for area of responsibility; identifies areas of risk and properly communicates them to the project manager.
  • Display ability to design messaging and visuals for appropriate audience to meet the specifies needs and requirements to deliver the APAC Brokerage training program and be able to identify and address training gaps with appropriate training contents and materials.
  • Possess good level of technical writing skill – Uses the appropriate style, level of detail, grammar, and organization of thought in technical writing considering the end-user’s perspective when creating training materials.
