Job Description:
What we expect of you, day to day.
-
Ability to gather and document business requirements.

Work closely with BI Manager/Report Developers and functional business areas within VPL for the delivery of accurate, insightful, timely and relevant requirements across the business (internal).

Work across the business to understand different requirements.

Understands data governance including data classification and retention.
-
Undertakes trend and root cause analysis to provide customer and business insight and recommendations.
-
Support internal teams to present data in a meaningful and insightful manner.
-
Influences stakeholders with Subject Matter Expertise Enhance operational performance and decision making through the analysis of operational data and KPI scorecards.

Support and documented business scenarios.

Provide input into the usage of data across technical and non-technical solutions.

Work closely with key stakeholders across the Visa Direct and Visa Payments Limited.

Support business wide data quality awareness (preferable).

Technical Experience
• Understanding of data and data analysis
• Understanding of database structure principles across both relational and no-SQL database technologies (nice to have)
• Knowledge of SQL and database technologies including DB2, MS-SQL (nice to have)
• Experience in Data Visualization tools
• Experience in any program languages such as Python, SQL etc.
• Experience in data migration projects
• Proficiency in use of MS Excel as a preferred business tool across non-technical teams
• Proven analytical skills and a problem-solving attitude focussed on data and how to gain the maximum benefit from the data used and stored through the lens of business and technical advantage.
• Experience in Agile software development experience such as SCRUM, Kanban, SAFe, Jira
• Ability to break down and solve complex problems and follow solutions through to completion.
