Job Description:
Responsibilities May Include:
- Identify banks and credit risk insurance underwritiers to provide credit risk transfer and working capital on trade accounts receivable.
- Negotiate committed and uncommitted facilities with risk transfer providers.
- Maintain panel of risk transfer providers and current availability and pricing of risk by counterparty name.
- Collaborate with business units to understand business needs and identify specific use cases.
- Provide analysis of working capital usage at the BU level.
- Run economic analysis of trade A/R inclusive of working capital and risk mitigation.
- Assist in monitoring credit portfolio thresholds.
- Execute risk mitigation transactions as required to maintain management risk appetite.
Required Qualifications:
- Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
- Bachelors degree
- Minimum of 10 years experience in commodity trade finance
- Experience negotiating with financial institutions, placing credit risk insurance policies and/or trade finance facilities
- Experience in corporate finance, credit and contract negotiation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or Masters in Accounting
- Strong economic modelling skills
- Team player but also able to manage own workload with focus on key daily tasks
