What a APJ Marketing Manager does at HP:
- Overall accountable for optimizing the entire marketing mix of the region, for better return on investment.
- Support the business in strategic planning and execution of the end-to-end marketing plan, from driving awareness and demand, to managing customer acquisition and retention, through an insights-driven multi-step and multi-channel customer journey.
- A key priority will be to increase demand and engagement through nurturing and customer lifecycle marketing, by creating a coordinated ‘always-on’ contact and content strategy for the whole customer lifecycle to boost conversion and retention.
- Optimize demand generation campaigns through relentless focus on data analytics & insights.
- Build the HP brand with positive impact on the target audiences through activities and content that breaks-through and creates emotional and rational connection with our customers.
- Work with channel and key resellers on co-marketing initiatives and campaigns.
- Strong and consistent alignment of marketing investments, strategy and tactics with key stakeholders (global marketing, country business and sales leaders).
- Deploy and manage the marketing budget with clear and measurable KPI’s and metrics in straight alignment with the business.
- Drive a growth mindset and innovative culture for the team. Manage, coach, inspire and grow a team of marketers based in various countries throughout the two regions.
Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or communications. Master’s degree strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of marketing experience, with proven impact on the brand and sales revenue
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing teams of 3 or more associates.
- Experience in integrated campaign planning: deep expertise in digital marketing channels including social, programmatic, digital media influencer marketing as well as traditional channels, especially events and industry relations
- Deep understanding of CRM, customer lifecycle marketing and nurturing practices; experience with marketing automation platforms like Eloqua, etc.
- Business acumen and ability to influence, especially when working with senior level executives and sales audiences
- Data-driven and analytical decision making
- Have a strong customer/user-focused mindset
- Ability to manage multiple fronts in a fast-paced environment and tight deadlines
