Job responsibilities
- Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
- Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems
- Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development
- Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems
- Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture
- Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies
- Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect
Required Skills
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Creates Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions such as Terraform in AWS Cloud
- Strong experience in developing enterprise software and proficiency in multiple technologies, preferably Java/J2EE and Python
- Practical experience of developing applications on platforms on AWS
- Strong experience in developing and architecting cloud-native applications with AWS services
- Hands-on experience in ECS, EKS, Lambda, SQS, Aurora, API Gateway, Glue, MSK, Resiliency Implementations
- Proficiency in setting up alerting and monitoring tools like Datadog, Dynatrace
- Experience in CI/CD pipleline preferably including Jenkins & Spinnaker and Version Control tools (BitBucket, GIT)
- Ability to conceptualize and collaborate with a team to develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
- Demonstrated ability to understand new architectures and designs quickly and proficiently
- Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills with clear communication
- Understanding the importance of great documentation with a passion for helping customers

Desired Skills
- Cloud Certifications – AWS Developer Associate, AWS Solutions Architect Associate, Microsoft Azure
- Certification in IaC implementation preferably Terraform
- Experience with Azure, GCP or other Public Cloud environments is a plus
- Proficiency in Precisely, AWS Blue Sage Services is a plus
