Job Information
Job Description:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Prepare journal entries in conjunction with the monthly closing
- Prepare monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Updating and maintaining accounting records and schedules
- Preparing reports for management
- Responding to inquiries from operations
- Responsible for various Sarbanes-Oxley controls and ensuring that those controls are operating effectively and taking place at the appropriate time intervals, consistent with internal documentation
- Provide documented evidence of aforementioned Sarbanes-Oxley controls when requested
- Provide detail for various operational-related requests
- Assist Senior Accountant(s)/Accounting Manager(s) with special projects
- Assist others with job duties
Required Qualifications
- 6+ months of experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA and/or MBA
- SAP (Fiori, Analysis for Office)
- Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet applications and good computer skills
- Good communication and analytical skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience required
