Job Description:

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Prepare journal entries in conjunction with the monthly closing
  • Prepare monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Updating and maintaining accounting records and schedules
  • Preparing reports for management
  • Responding to inquiries from operations
  • Responsible for various Sarbanes-Oxley controls and ensuring that those controls are operating effectively and taking place at the appropriate time intervals, consistent with internal documentation
  • Provide documented evidence of aforementioned Sarbanes-Oxley controls when requested
  • Provide detail for various operational-related requests
  • Assist Senior Accountant(s)/Accounting Manager(s) with special projects
  • Assist others with job duties

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ months of experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA and/or MBA
  • SAP (Fiori, Analysis for Office)
  • Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet applications and good computer skills
  • Good communication and analytical skills

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience required
