Job Description:

A day in the life of an Assistant Procurement Manager

• Develop sourcing strategy and supplier management plan; and implement especially for co-manufacturing procurement categories

• Be a strategic partner to integrate sourcing plans and outcomes in local budgets and price planning processes as required

• Support portfolio strategy and capability development, negotiation preparation, contracting via the expertise and engage in creating supplier sourcing

• Prepare, conduct and lead the tender process independently

• Ensuring supplier management is adhere to corporate standards and identify new best in class local suppliers including data base maintenance, supplier classification, new sources identification within the area of responsibilities.

What will make you successful…

• Degree Holder in Supply Chain or related disciplines, with Engineering/ Mechanic background is a plus

• At least 5 years’ relevant experiences in FMCG industry, with leading procurement projects experience is a must

• Proactive, self-motivated with mature business acumen

• Strong analytical and communication skills

• Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills

• Experience in using SAP and Ariba Easybuy would be an advantage

• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese, fluent in Mandarin is a plus
