Job Description:

Purpose:

  • Responsible for the analysis and measure of the effectiveness of existing business processes.
  • Designs and implements re-engineering business processes to address user requirements.
  • Determines how new information technologies can support re-engineering business processes.
  • May specialize in one or more of the following areas: benchmarking, business process analysis and re-engineering, change management and measurement, process-driven systems requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and user stories.
  • Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans and test cases for both manual and automated testing.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration testing to ensure the quality and stability of software applications.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.
  • Work closely with developers to reproduce and debug issues, providing detailed information for efficient bug resolution.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts using industry-standard testing tools and frameworks.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality and testability.
  • Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a QA Engineer with 2-5 years in software testing and quality assurance.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with  test automation tools and frameworks  or any RPA tools.
  • Proficient in programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, or similar will be a plus.
  • Experience with both manual and automated testing of web or Windows Desktop applications.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and database testing.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
