ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with efforts to review and migrate or dispose of network drive content.
  • Utilize applicable IT systems to establish monitoring controls to prevent the accidental loss of information.
  • Interacts with users to gather requirements, build and maintain network drive repositories, organize content, enforce governance protocols, and promote best practices for records storage.
  • Assist with developing, documenting, and implementing standard procedures and best practices.
  • Perform security access reviews to ensure compliance with the organization’s data classification and privacy policies.
  • Create and maintain the data map of the organization’s data and document legal holds, as applicable.
  • Provide business process and technical support for certain records storage and sharing applications.
  • Assist with special projects as applicable.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work-related experience.
  • 2-to-5-year experience in a records management or related role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong knowledge of records management principles, practices, and standards.
  • Familiarity with records management systems and software.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
