Job Description:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with efforts to review and migrate or dispose of network drive content.
- Utilize applicable IT systems to establish monitoring controls to prevent the accidental loss of information.
- Interacts with users to gather requirements, build and maintain network drive repositories, organize content, enforce governance protocols, and promote best practices for records storage.
- Assist with developing, documenting, and implementing standard procedures and best practices.
- Perform security access reviews to ensure compliance with the organization’s data classification and privacy policies.
- Create and maintain the data map of the organization’s data and document legal holds, as applicable.
- Provide business process and technical support for certain records storage and sharing applications.
- Assist with special projects as applicable.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work-related experience.
- 2-to-5-year experience in a records management or related role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong knowledge of records management principles, practices, and standards.
- Familiarity with records management systems and software.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
