Job Description:
Your Tasks – Paint the world green
- You will join our Business Development team with the objective of growing existing partnerships and attracting new operators to our network
- You will become an industry expert on sustainable transportation in the UK, able to articulate the importance of coach travel and Flixbus UK’s vision to a strategy for our Business Development.
- You will Build Pipeline for success:
- You will identify potential partners
- You will own a sales territory contacting operators and building a plan to deliver growth
- You will achieve a profound understanding of our partners’ business to identify growth opportunities.
- You will become part of the industry, build and nurture long-lasting relations with operators and stakeholders and have the chance to network at events, parties and award ceremonies
- You will Close Pipeline and tangibly help building the future of UK transportation:
- You will identify the business value that we can create for our partners or prospects
- You assess the potential profitability of our partners by estimating their costs. We want our partners to succeed!
- You will deliver effective presentations, articulating our value proposition, points of differentiation and business model
- You will lead negotiations of large multi-year contracts.
Don’t forget: you won’t be alone:
- You will join a team of BDMs who will work closely and support you: we win together
- You will work closely with the Head of Business Development, who will help you close deals and improve your skills
- You will collaborate with multiple teams (Network planning, Operations, Finance, etc.) to ensure you can plan and execute effectively and design a profitable Flixbus network.
- You will become a subject matter expert and provide feedback to HQ to ensure that the UK perspective is considered when defining new initiatives.
- You will you leverage our tools to succeed (e.g. CRM, calculation tools, etc.)
Your Profile – Ready to hop on board
- 3+ years’ experience from Sales or Account Management (ideally both) at a growth company. We cover all sales funnel stages from prospecting to value-based pitch to negotiation as well as account management.
