Job Description:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

PRINT & FINISHING – 

  • Perform finishing tasks and utilize finishing equipment such as cutters, booklet makers, folders, inserters, laminators and hole punch/coil binding
  • Update print job tickets in customer tool
  • Prep completed jobs for delivery to customer
  • Operate digital production equipment
  • Receive, schedule and prioritize incoming job requests
  • Problem solve incoming jobs and communicate with customer to resolve
  • Perform quality inspection during and after print jobs
  • Receive and action customer escalations
  • Track and coordinate the move, add or change of office equipment assets at customer accounts
  • Maintain appropriate supply inventory, distribute supplies as required
  • Collect data and respond to print/copy equipment issues by contacting service personnel using specific PC applications
  • Inspect files for problem areas, including fonts, image resolution and image registration Index electronic materials to media
  • Perform operator maintenance on equipment

MAIL & SCANNING – 

  • Receive mail and package deliveries
  • Scan packages (if required) or track manually
  • Sort mail
  • Deliver and Pickup mail/package on routes
  • Run postage machine (if required) for outgoing mail
  • Update job log for mail statistics
  • Track, trace and resolve mail problems with local delivery services
  • Utilize mail equipment
  • Operate inserter/folder machines
  • Add postage to meter
  • Support mail courier packages
  • Research and resolve package deliveries
  • Perform fulfillment functions, such as assembly, packaging, shipping and tracking of kitted materials.
  • Bar code tracking of incoming mail and packages.
  • Use of customized software to update/maintain addresses
  • Record and process accountable mail
  • Perform electronic mail distribution, open, mail prep, scan and distribute
  • Prepare documents for scanning (remove staples, make header sheet, etc)
  • Distribute scanned document to digital repositories
  • Participate in all required audits

 

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLSETS & ABILITIES:

  • Able to stand/bend for 6-7 hours per day
  • Able to lift 50 pounds
  • PC skills: Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word)
  • Able to demonstrate Intermediate use of: MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Web, Internet, and Intranet — Create spreadsheets — Use standard formulas — Sort — Filter, and create graphs — Import/export information — Embed files into applications — Move data between Word and Excel
  • May develop and update work processes or templates
  • Customer service skills – written and oral
  • Willingness to learn
  • Possesses skills and competencies to deliver minimum /basic contracted customer requirements (document assembly and finishing).
  • Able to demonstrate business maturity and professionalism

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION: 

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Post high school technology training or experience preferred
  • 2 or more years of relevant experience
