Job Description:

As the Supply Chain Engineer, you will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Design and synchronize the networks and processes that move raw materials and supplies into production facilities, transform them into finished goods, and distribute products to customer markets.
  • Define material inspection metrology and methodology.
  • Conduct studies relative to cost control, process control, and production yield and implement plans and programs to optimize supply chain.
  • Work with suppliers to define requirements and holds suppliers accountable for their manufacturing process flow to meet quality, reliability, cost, yield, and manufacturability requirements.
  • Drive continuous process and quality improvements.

Additionally, roles can include maintaining quality standards and systems, and creating relevant specifications to minimize variability and subjectivity to align with operational and supplier capability requirements.

Specific responsibilities may vary depending upon the engineering role within the supply chain.

Qualifications

This is an entry-level position and will be compensated accordingly.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must possess at least one of the following degrees plus the years of experience determined for each degree in the areas specified below:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Computer Science, Software or Materials Engineering or related field of study.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic Knowledge of Design of Experiments, Statistics, Test Process Flow Familiar with Equipment Development and supplier negotiations.
  • Understanding of Software Life Cycle, Test Software Validation, Test Programs, Prior Tooling/Module/Product/Equipment/Materials.
  • Development or experience would be an added advantage on Basics of SEMI standards.
  • Direct Supply Chain experience, and/or previous Intel Internship
  • Experience working across geographies.
