Job Description:

Responsibilities May Include:

  • Conducts routine inspection of equipment and facilities (equipment health, security, AVOAudio, Visual, Olfactory), operation of liquid handling systems, and operation of dehydration systems.
  • Conducts pipeline pigging, hydrate management, etc.
  • Responsible for Startup, Shutdown, and operating gas compression equipment.
  • Maintains pipeline ROW such as markers, signs, and vegetation, exposures.
  • Performs maintenance and repair of engines, compressors and associated components, such as compressor valves, spark plugs, cooling and lubrication systems (auxiliary).
  • Performs maintenance and repair of pumps and associated components, such as amine, glycol, condensate, NGL, etc.
  • Performs maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment such as block valves, control valves, air compressors, manual valve actuators, etc.
  • Performs maintenance and repair of and fixed equipment such as filters (all types), strainers, dehydration systems, etc.
  • Conducts routine inspection, calibration and repair of end devices such as transmitters, switches, fire eyes, hazardous gas detection, level detection, loop tuning, etc.
  • Conducts routine inspection, calibration and repair of meter and associated equipment (meter tube/plates, ultrasonic meter, flow computer).
  • Conducts routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of communications equipment, and sampling system.
  • Responsible for conducting the product composition, quality sampling and testing process according to company standard.
  • Performs Startup, Shutdown, and operation of a variety of gas plant equipment including:
  • Gas compression, Cryogenic processing unit (including helium extraction), NGL Fractionator, Liquid handling systems, dehydration systems and treatment systems
  • Utility systems such as cooling towers, boilers, furnaces, hot oil, waste heat, Thermal Oxidizer, etc.
  • Maintain PLC, HMI equipment, software, pipeline valves and actuators.
  • Maintain and repair motor control equipment.
  • Maintenance and repair of prime mover and pumps.
  • Required Qualifications:
  • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1 or more years of oil and gas operations experience
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Willingness and ability to perform and comply with following, with or without reasonable accommodations:
  • Lift up to 50 pounds
  • Occasionally exerts pulling force of 130 pounds
  • To climb various ladders and stairs to operate valves, gauge tanks, or perform maintenance on equipment are a part of this position. The ladders and stairs range from 5 to 50 feet in height
  • Regularly stoops, squats, kneels and crouches for durations up to 30 minutes
  • Periodically pulls/pushes doors open to move around throughout the field
  • To respond to emergency calls as needed
  • To work overtime on an as-needed basis (which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays)
  • Work outside conditions (i.e. gas compression sites) that include inclement weather, heat and humidity
  • Works safely near large, hot, high-speed machines
  • Work in loud environment
  • To wear personal protective equipment (such as fire-retardant clothing, steel-toe shoes, ear and eye protection)

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Completion of Tech school program
  • 5 or more years of experience in oil and gas operations
  • 3 or more years of work experience in mechanical maintenance, instrumentation and electrical maintenance, or measurement
