Job Description:

Responsibilities for the Role: 

  • Strategic Vision – Set the vision, direction, and Go-To-Market (GTM) plan for the Mexico market, in line with the regional and overall corporate strategic objectives.  
  • Sales Team Management – Build, develop, retain, and manage a high-performing sales organization that delivers exceptional results and delivers on revenue and sales targets.  This includes recruiting, developing, leading, mentoring and coaching a team of high-performing senior sales professionals and sales managers. 
  • Business Development and Expansion – Developing sales strategies in line with Xerox’ growth plan for the Country.  This includes evaluating sales growth and revenue growth opportunities, owning, and scaling new revenue generation across the region
  • Key Client Management – Interact with senior leadership with enterprise clients helping to close key deals, negotiate complex deals and client issues.

Other responsibilities include:

  • P&L accountability and objectives for the region
  • Serve as a leading voice, articulating the Xerox position in document management strategy and act as the central communicator, evangelizing and leading communications in the market around the company’s capabilities within digitization services
  • Reaching short-term operational objectives in accordance with the region’s strategic plan and develop long-term strategic initiatives to build overall financial improvement to the overall business.
  • Build a successful, dynamic, diverse, high performing team
  • Collaborate with senior Xerox stakeholders to develop offerings and solutions to meet customer needs and optimize performance today and in the future
  • Act as the legal representative to the relevant regional entities of Xerox

Candidate Profile: 

  • Over 15 years relevant sales team leadership experience in a global organization with senior-level experience in sales, marketing and/or general management.
  • Entrepreneurial sales leader with proven experience identifying, engaging and closing on large-enterprise, public institutional and SMB clients in Mexico.
  • Demonstrated and measurable track record of successfully cultivating, developing, and managing enterprise-level client relationships
  • Demonstrated success in developing, driving, and achieving annual sales budgets and monthly forecasts for revenue and margins
  • Deep understanding and connections within the Mexico market 
  • Inspirational leader with the ability to motivate and inspire employees 
  • Proven track record leading businesses through technological change and transformation
  • International perspective, able to manage a diverse customer base and internal stakeholder relationships spanning Mexico and the broader Latin Americas region
  • Must be multi-lingual (speaking Spanish in addition to Business English)
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Masters’ degree preferred (MSc, MBA, etc.)
