Client GFX and AI Graphics Engineering (CGAI) is responsible for delivering industry-leading GPU (3D, media, compute, and display) hardware intellectual property (IP) blocks and system-on-chip (SoC) products for discrete graphics and throughput computing. We strive to lead the industry through continuous innovation and world-class engineering. The Discrete Graphics SoC team is within CGAI and we charter/responsible for improving the energy efficiency of our Xe GPUs. As a member of Pre-Si verification/validation team, you will be verifying the most complex SOCs in the various functional domains of PCI, Security, Power Management, Clocks, Resets. Our development activities include SoC Validation Strategy, Test Plan, coverage, running regressions, debugging bugs, getting involved in post-si debug, emulation etc.Qualifications

    You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Minimum (must haves) Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering with 6+ years of experience or a master’s degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering 6+ years of experience in 5 or more of the following 1. Test Bench bring-up at SoC and strong programming skills in System Verilog, OVM and UVM. 2. Test Plan development experience. 3. Enabling regressions, maintaining QoV (quality of validation) with good functional/code/other coverage metrics. 4. Familiarity with both simulation and emulation environments. 5. Strong CPU/GPU architecture understanding. 6. RTL Debugging module level or soc level system simulation failures. 7. Building emulation models, enabling content 8. Working with Validation Engineers and central CAD teams to support and maintain verification requirements in terms of Automation and tool flow support. 9. Coordinating with Val team on CAD Requirement with support CAD, IT and Engineering Compute Teams. 10. Act as focal point between design and tool vendors for issues and feature enhancements. 11. Training/Supporting Validation Engineers in CAD tool flow and Infrastructure 12. Monitoring and improve existing simulation environments and simulation efficiency.
