Essential Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for all standard work across the GE Aerospace IR team, including communicating consistent updates to the GE Aerospace senior leadership team and leveraging high quality (targeting ‘zero-defect’) standard work to drive continuously improving outcomes:
  • Independently collect, aggregate, analyze and summarize for senior leadership the continuous stream of sell side equity research publications, models, and estimates
  • Assess sell side research for areas of inconsistency or which require further clarification, highlighting to IR Director for follow-up discussions
  • Own Weekly Consensus calculation and analysis, tracking estimates for revenue, profit, EPS, and adjusted FCF.
  • Collaborating with FP&A and operational teams to understand key drivers between the GE Aerospace internal estimate and analyst models to deliver insights to the senior leadership team on GE Aerospace performance versus market expectations
  • Provide IR Director and VP of IR with insights about consensus versus internal estimates in advance of analyst discussions to inform conversations
  • Manage peers & competitors process, including assessing, summarizing, and providing regular updates to management on key takeaways from quarterly earnings and other updates provided by these companies that are relevant to GE Aerospace
  • Leverage learnings from peer & competitors process to provide suggestions and insights into how to shape GE’s messages, proactively look for inconsistencies and help to follow-up with internal teams
  • Support the Investor Relations team to develop and maintain institutional investor targeting
  • Leverage targeting analysis to shape investor meeting schedules and prioritization
  • Participate in the quarterly earnings preparation process, including:
  • Active collaboration in building GE Aerospace messaging, including bringing relevant learnings from standard work (sell side research and peers) to support the process
  • Developing and analyzing GE Aerospace results versus consensus
  • Development of documents (email communications, IR newsletters, incremental guidance tracker)
  • Maintaining IR documents in centralized collaborative platform (W-desk)
  • Completing business leader sign-off packages & process
  • Lead preparation for IR only investor events and calls
  • Support and help the Investor Relations team prepare GE Aerospace’s senior leadership team for investor conferences
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in select parts of GE Aerospace’s business (e.g., pension, treasury) and support Senior IR manager in developing responses to investor questions in key areas
  • Ownership of communications with retail investors in response to inbound questions
  • Support the team in maintaining the Investor Relations website as needed
  • Ad-hoc projects focused on developing standalone GE Aerospace capabilities

Required Qualifications

  • For roles outside of the USA- This role requires significant experience in the Finance & Investor Relations. Knowledge level is comparable to a Master’s degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
  • For roles in USA – Master’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).
  • 4-6 years of experience, with increasing responsibility and complexity, ideally in Finance (FP&A, Financial Analysis, Equity Research, Accounting, Financial Communications, etc.)
  • Experience at a public Aerospace & Defense company, public company investor relations, equity research and/or investment banking experience is preferred, but not required

  • In-depth understanding or strong interest in the financial markets and financial modeling and valuation techniques used by security analysts
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
