Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the performance of risk assessments and development of the audit plans for data and AI governance areas.
- Perform audits, including planning, fieldwork, reporting and issues management.
- Prepare audit deliverables (planning memos, walkthroughs, testing, and issues) that meet departmental and professional standards of quality in a clear and concise manner to support audit conclusions.
- Define audit test procedures and obtain appropriate evidence to test the controls for effectiveness.
- Identify audit issues and identify root cause, present findings to management and identify opportunities for improvement to reduce the risk.
- Document drafts audit findings/reports for presentation to audit leadership and management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and internal teams.
- Perform testing on corrective actions to ensure that remediation implemented is effective.
- Identify opportunities to automate testing for improved efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support the enhancement of data and AI audit capabilities and guidelines.
- Support the education of data and AI risks and controls to cross-functional teams.
- Stay updated on data and AI trends, technologies, and regulations, and apply insights to audit engagements.
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in information systems, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- 5 – 7 years of experience in auditing, consulting, or implementing data and AI solutions.
- Understanding of data and AI concepts, principles, techniques, and tools, such as data governance, data quality, data security, data privacy, AI governance, AI risk management, AI explainability, and AI performance.
- Clear written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey audit findings and recommendations effectively.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple audit engagements and deliver high-quality results within deadlines and budgets.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, complex and dynamic environment with evolving change.
