Job Description:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include:

  • Management. Leading efforts to prioritize and manage daily facility work schedules.
  • Measurement and Quality Control. Overseeing and actively taking part in facility balancing, M&QC assurance initiatives, and computer applications related to station operations.
  • Maintenance. Coordinating the maintenance and repair of equipment associated with station operations and assuring that maintenance is timely and in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Safety Lead. Putting Safety First in all work activities including: work permits, work audits,    Smith System driving, “Plan-Do-Check” policy, etc.
  • Regulatory Compliance. Staying knowledgeable of petroleum station regulations and all environmental regulations, safety directives and operating procedures so that the station can assure compliance and ensuring that management is apprised of any area or issue that should be addressed regarding regulatory compliance including environmental, health and safety.
  • Customer Service. Maintaining a good relationship with all station customers and respond to their inquiries and needs as required. 
  • Emergency Response. Assisting in responding to station related emergencies when called upon to do so and participating in annual emergency response training drills.
  • Business Development. Demonstrating a good understanding of the business as well as the operations of the station and physical piping, assisting with business development to grow station revenue and keeping aware of competitive environment and consult with manager if action is required to capture or retain business.
  • Budget Management. Assisting in compiling annual project lists and costs for annual budget purposes at each station and actively supporting long term maintenance capital programs for the station.
  • Personnel Training. Overseeing and/or meeting all necessary requirements to provide relief operations and on the job training for new hires and necessary Operator Qualification required training.
  • And other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 5+ years related experience in pipeline operations preferred.
  • General knowledge of equipment and maintenance of Buckeye pipeline facilities required.
  • Inventory control and/or accounting background would be a plus.
