Job Description:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead and develop the HR operations team with a focus on global service delivery.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor on global HR operations to the senior management team.
  • Manage HR technology within Beckman for the following systems: Workday, Oracle, and HR Case Management, and work towards improving and optimizing the effectiveness of the systems
  • Act as the Project Manager for key initiatives including Global HR Shared Service project, e-Filing project, Leave of Absence process improvement, and more
  • Support the HR Shared Service team to ensure consistent, effective, and impactful implementation of human resources practices, processes, and programs that support operational effectiveness
  • Support the benefit needs of the associates within Beckman in conjunction with corporate benefits; maintain and update benefits communications content from a Beckman perspective
  • Working in partnership with the HR team, drive enhancements and process improvements to empower associates and managers and troubleshoot issues when they arise.
  • Act as HRIS Security and Organization Partner for Beckman Coulter; understand HR security setup within Workday, assign roles based on business needs, evaluate security model, and ensure access is appropriately assigned; manage quarterly SOX review
  • Apply DBS tools, create and maintain standard work documentation for HR Operations, measure effectiveness, and participate in process improvement opportunities initiatives.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • At least 9+ years of experience in the field, ideally in a Human Resources role; or Master’s degree, 7+ years experience in a Human Resources role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven and demonstrable experience in driving HR programs or processes within a fast-paced, regulated environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • In-depth knowledge of global employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Occasional international Travel may be required
