Job Description:

Your responsibilities will include

  • Serve as a strategic, legal, and compliance advisor to the Polish site Leaders and other members of the senior management team to drive results and protect the Company’s interests
  • Advise the HR and business teams on a wide range of employment-related issues in Poland, as well as manufacturing regulatory compliance matters, and contribute to broader EMEA initiatives
  • Drafting and implementing employment policies and standard documentation in close collaboration with the HR teams and stakeholders
  • Draft, review, and support in negotiating agreements relating to a wide variety of 3d party relationships, including (but not limited to): master service agreements, master commercial agreements, consulting agreements, and agreements relating to manufacturing, supply chain, and logistics
  • Support and execute corporate secretarial matters, including board resolutions and other forms of governance approvals, PoAs, etc.
  • Engage in a range of corporate support activities, including but not limited to, assisting with managing and enhancing corporate and legal infrastructure – templates, electronic signature, contracts management tools, etc.
  • Identify, develop, and implement effective and dynamic legal training and processes to drive efficient and effective legal support
  • Partner with outside counsel to support real estate transactions
  • Manage legal budget and outside counsel
  • Work effectively with business leaders, including the ability to develop strong internal relationships across various levels of the organization to drive results, a culture of integrity, and values-driven performance, and advise on specific legal matters
  • Opportunity to learn from a wider legal team and contribute to global legal projects as needed

Requirements, skills and experiences

  • Global business is conducted in English, and fluency in Polish is also mandatory. Any other European language would be a plus
  • Qualified Legal Counsel in Poland
  • 6+ years of relevant post-qualified legal experience with a focus on employment, corporate, and contract laws – in-house legal experience is desired
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including a strong character & integrity values, professionalism, and confidence
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral) with executives, business clients, and legal staff, being a proactive strategic partner
  • Strong analytical and strategical organization and management skills, including change management skills to optimize legal support and resources
  • Ability to work effectively with others and with an appreciation of cultural diversity
  • Possess keen intellect, and credibility to interact effectively and influence management at all levels
  • Genuine desire to work in an international setting with a high level of enthusiasm for the diversity of work
