Job Description:

  • Download, code, apply and validate payments from numerous bank accounts including checks, ACHs, wires, and credit cards.
  • Must maintain the department SLA of posting received cash within 2 business days or as required for the designated portfolio assignments.
  • Reconcile and balance bank statements to post reports weekly. If the portfolio requires more stringent balancing, daily.
  • Cross-trains on related Cash Application functions to support team flexibility and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain cash receipt records and files as required for audit purposes.
  • Research and complete cash offsets and adjustments as required.
  • Contact the Credit and Collections team or contact the customer to obtain payment remit information.
  • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting duties, including month-end close.

What your background should look likeĀ 

  • High School Diploma or final-year studies.
  • Solid understanding of the cash application processes or proven relevant experience would be considered as advantage.
  • Experience in operating within multiple programs, software and ERPs would be considered as an advantage.
  • Fast and accurate 10-key typing skill.
  • Good analytical skills, a strong grasp of numbers and basic calculations.
  • Ability to effectively present information and communicate well, both written and verbally, with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to remain flexible and adaptable while multitasking in a fast-paced, high-volume, transactional environment.
  • Ability to work with all levels of management in a professional manner.
  • Strong problem-solving skill; ability to work through difficult tasks.
  • Proficiency with MS Office.
