Job Description:
Responsibilities may include:
- Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data.
- Prepares off-cycle checks for distribution to employees.
- Prepares final paychecks in accordance with state laws.
- Prepares documentation and prepares final paycheck for beneficiaries.
- Audits regular paychecks for each bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll.
- Reviews variances, corrects data, and documents differences.
- Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
- Prepares documentation for SOX compliance requirements.
- Maintains compliance and consistency by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
- Updates and maintains knowledge center articles.
- Prepares documentation and responses for payroll legal hold orders.
- Maintains and handles new and revised income withholding orders.
- Interacts with government agencies on child support arrears on annual bonus payments.
- Reviews and prepares tuition reimbursements, KESRP, and patent payments.
- Provides tier 2 support for HR Connections on payroll issues and/or questions from employees.
- Protects employee and payroll data by keeping information confidential.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Handles other general administrative activities as necessary.
Required Qualifications:
- Legally authorized to work in the job posting country.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in the Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Payroll experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- SAP Payroll experience.
- Strong communication skills.
- Able to work in a collaborative environment as part of a team.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as required based on payroll execution schedule.
