Pricing Analyst – French Speaking @ Xerox

Role Scope:

The role performs two key activities supporting the GTM pricing:

  • Producing all the reporting and pricing analysis for the GTM on both regular and ad hoc basis.
  • Preparing the bid (either from channel partner or direct sales people) including the check for completeness and all the calculations required in readiness for the pricing decisioning.
Relationships to other groups may include:
  • Other Commercial pricing groups.
  • GTM/Country pricing community, Central pricing team, GTM Sales or Channel Business Manager, GTM Finance management.

Role Responsibilities:

Reporting and Analyst Activities

  • Producing monthly bid activities reports (from Qlikview or other systems).
  • Carrying out ad hoc Pricing Analysis as required by the countries.
  • Project involvement / support pricing and working across functionality with other groups as required (such as signings reporting in, preparation of monthly management letter and commission report, etc.)
  • Pro-actively support the continuous improvement of the Pricing approval process and maintenance of price books or pricing tools.

Bids Support Activities

  • Provide first validation of bids coming through Pricing tool to include:
  • Check documentation completeness (and query back to the Xerox Sales if incomplete)
  • Producing TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) calculation from the Pricing tool, including checking the volume, rebate and any other specific country requirements which need to be included in the TCO calculation and provide this for country pricing team.
  • For renewal or additional bids, pricing needs to be cross-checked against previously approved bids and provide the information on the price movements to the country pricing team
  • Any other country specific request on the bid processing (such as preparing Framework pricing)

Role Requirements:

Technical skills

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Skilled in use of Microsoft Excel (VBA/macro knowledge is advantageous)
  • Familiar with Microsoft Access

Interpersonal skills

  • Flexible attitude, ability to cope with peak workloads, short deadlines and business pressures.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities and associated deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Confident and assertive

Language/communication skills

  • Good knowledge of English (verbal and writing)
  • Good knowledge of French (verbal and writing) 
  • Good communication skills, verbal and writing


  • Completed university degree in accounting, economics, or comparable studies covering mathematics or statistics.
