Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Product Roadmap ownership at market level
- Own Product lifecycle from Customer Objective phase (CO) to FCS date (First Shipment Date) through POR (Plan of Record): Roadmap, complexity reduction, offer, POR sign-off, performance to POR.
- Pre-POR conversations with GBU & Markets (starting at CO) to align product features / specs / offering / cost projection.
- Optimize offers to reduce complexity.
- Project New Product Introduction (NPIs) and refreshed platforms POR volume and financials (POR sign off)
- Manage platform offer at theatre level.
- Monitor platform volume & financials performance vs POR commitment and take corrective actions if deviation.
- Define platform transition plan.
- NPI readiness at global level
- Excel in support to markets & countries on product communication, training, and collateral
- Identify unique selling points and key messaging.
- Product, feature, and technology evangelization
- Product training to market category teams
- Ensure proper product assets availability.
- Support internal & external events.
- Product Subject Matter Experts across Consumer Compute Category
- Competitor analysis and articulate HP’s response
Education and Experience Required:
- University degree in Marketing/Business/Technical.
- Highly knowledgeable of the PC market
- Strong Sales and Product Management Background
- 8 years’ experience in product marketing fundamentals.
- Demonstrated knowledge of general marketing function either through education or work experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Global PS market knowledge
- Solid technical knowledge and ability to understand detailed product level complexities.
- Able to see the big picture and have a firm grasp on the details.
- Demonstrated analytical skills.
- Good business acumen, able to bring the story behind the numbers.
- Strong Communication skills. Should be able to develop, design and deliver, both visually and verbally strong product story.
- Ability to work both in a structured and dynamic environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work with team members in same team, and across multiple different teams, with diverse opinions and objectives. Able to drive people to a common business objective.
- Demonstrated drive and enthusiasm, track record for getting things done.
