Job Description:

  • Generate and set own schedule/appointments with clients and prospective clients (both hot and cold leads). Organize meetings with managers, purchasing agents and other executive management responsible for purchasing and repairing of industrial pumps.
  • Troubleshoot, recommend equipment, spec out needs of the client.
  • Responsible for sales/service territory in West Virginia, Virginia, Kentucky, Ohio
  • Prepare and submit all travel reports and reimbursements as required.
  • Conduct a minimum of 5 sales presentations per week by physical visits to customer locations and perform professional presentations or demonstrations of product(s)/service(s) while on-site.
  • Build/foster a network of referrals to create new opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Ensure sales follow-up by passing leads to inside sales team.
  • Represent company by maintaining professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity.
  • Responsible for in depth knowledge of office computer software for marketing purposes, customer history, vendor information, inventory system, quotation interface and other applicable sales management tools.
  • Maintain accurate records (sales calls, expense reimbursement with necessary receipts, pickup/delivery paperwork and other documentation).
  • Responsible for front-line assessment of market conditions and provided reports to management of findings.
  • Occasional lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable with computers and manual dexterity required to use them to allow for training to access customer info, enter quotes, and respond to emails

  • 40 hour full time work week (8-5 M-F) with 1 hour for lunch and two 15 min breaks.
