Job responsibilities

  • Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
  • Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems
  • Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development
  • Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems
  • Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture
  • Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies
  • Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect

Required Skills

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
  • Creates Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions such as Terraform in AWS Cloud
  • Strong experience in developing enterprise software and proficiency in multiple technologies, preferably Java/J2EE and Python
  • Practical experience of developing applications on platforms on AWS
  • Strong experience in developing and architecting cloud-native applications with AWS services
  • Hands-on experience in ECS, EKS, Lambda, SQS, Aurora, API Gateway, Glue, MSK, Resiliency Implementations
  • Proficiency in setting up alerting and monitoring tools like Datadog, Dynatrace
  • Experience in CI/CD pipleline preferably including Jenkins & Spinnaker and Version Control tools (BitBucket, GIT)
  • Ability to conceptualize and collaborate with a team to develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
  • Demonstrated ability to understand new architectures and designs quickly and proficiently
  • Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills with clear communication
  • Understanding the importance of great documentation with a passion for helping customers

Desired Skills

  • Cloud Certifications – AWS Developer Associate, AWS Solutions Architect Associate, Microsoft Azure
  • Certification in IaC implementation preferably Terraform
  • Experience with Azure, GCP or other Public Cloud environments is a plus
  • Proficiency in Precisely, AWS Blue Sage Services is a plus
