Job Description:

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of an overall growth strategy for Defense and Systems products/Services in the region
  • Establish and enhance relationships with the highest levels of government and defense officials and key commercial partners to drive and influence program decisions towards GE products
  • Provide expertise and insight into regional customers’ military priorities, budgets, procurement, voice of customer, and policy procedures; provide insight into long term trends and market conditions for GE Aerospace’s military products and services
  • Provide guidance and support to regional leadership, senior management and headquarter personnel on defense procurement processes and regulations and import/export requirements for defense articles
  • Develop and execute customer engagement strategies in association with sales campaigns and lead cross-functional team in deal preparation, negotiation, and bidding processes.
  • Lead and develop a culture of Lean and GE leadership behaviors (Act with Humility, Lead with Transparency & Deliver with Focus), ensuring effective communication across the organization, engaging with colleagues at all levels to ensure understanding and alignment with goals.
  • Provide leadership development and performance feedback to team members, coach and mentor across the organization.
  • All activities to be conducted in accordance with GE Aerospace integrity guidelines


  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
  • 10+ years of commercial work experiences in Aviation engineering, sales, marketing, or business development with experience as a people leader and working with high level government and business stakeholders
  • Comprehensive knowledge of military and other government and aerospace industries
  • Skilled communicator who can influence a wide range of audience via balanced approach to deals and a clear understanding/presentation of risks
  • Experience and knowledge negotiating contract terms and conditions
  • Financial acumen
  • Strong oral and written English communication skills
