Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain risk committee governance and records, including calendars, meeting materials, charters, policies, etc.
  • Prepare quarterly risk committee decision log.
  • Responsible for GRM internal resources including SharePoint and GRM Intranet.
  • Responsible for gathering metrics for regular reporting (e.g., FRC/ERC risk report).
  • Support coordination and preparation of the NAIC ORSA.
  • Lead and/or support GRM wide projects as needed.
  • Coordinate Learning & Development initiatives for GRM, such as course management and reporting.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and proprietary material.

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills: 

Required:

  • Experience in the financial services industry and insurance preferred.
  • High degree of organization and attention to detail.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently on multiple priorities, follow-up skills, and an appropriate sense of ownership and urgency.
  • High degree of professionalism, sound judgment, and discretion in contact with management and associates.
  • Cultural fluency and ability to work effectively with a diverse, global population.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Preferred:

  • Risk management background is a plus.
