Job Description:
Responsibilities:
• Work with business partners, application leads, project management resources and other stakeholders to develop Streaming (live and on-demand recordings) architecture and design deliverables
• Assess architecture options to provide recommendations that are in-line with the strategic vision of Enterprise-wide best practices
• Research and replication of issues, perform analysis of the root cause of problems and provide technical assistance to Support staff
• Design, develop, document, test, calibrate, configure, troubleshoot, and perform preventative maintenance for Streaming platform
• Ensure that information and technical assistance is provided to customers in accordance with established policies & procedures
• Work closely with other teams through product lifecycle including Streaming Operations, Network Engineering, vendor management, and service provider(s)
• Provide Engineering support for Streaming issues
Required Qualifications
• 2+ years’ experience with, and demonstrated knowledge of, Streaming application software/products including cloud-based offerings
• Exceptional communication (verbal and written) skills
- Networking & Server administration skills
- 1+ years’ experience with Linux
• 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role
· Ability to work independently, learn quickly, and be proactive
• Ability and willingness to work and communicate within a close-knit team
• Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills, with strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to collaborate without guidance in both business and technical environments
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Ability and willingness to be constantly learning, exploring new technologies and skills, and sharing findings with colleagues
