Job Description:

  • As a Valves & Gears channel compliance subject matter expert, insures that appropriate mechanisms, processes and training are in place (internally and with channel partners) in order to comply with company’s compliance programs and practices
  • Implements and leads the channel partner discount and commission internal audit process working closely with finance, customer care & sales teams
  • Reviews channel partner audit reports, identifies gaps and provides advice and guidance on corrective actions
  • Handles direct communication with internal stakeholders (sales, compliance, audit teams) and Channel Partners on compliance audit findings and next steps
  • Ensures all audits and corrective actions are closely monitored, and results are communicated and rectified as needed within a timely manner
  • Ensures all audits are tied back to the channel partners onboarding, renewal, and termination process in accordance with the Channel Partner Policy and established controls
  • Ensures complete, accurate and timely audit information is reported to stakeholders
  • Identifies risks and best practices across channel network, drives implementation & communication of solutions, including creating new policies related to channel partner compliance and audit processes.
  • Gathers and analyzes data and processes to identify improvements to business processes, compliance controls, and financial reporting. Provides advice and guidance to functional management or business functions on recommendations

To be successful in this role you will:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in internal auditing, controllership, compliance, or related function
  • Be a subject matter expert in auditing, consulting or other relevant financial or operational experience
  • Have advanced IT skills, including solid competency with Word and Excel
  • Demonstrate excellent written, verbal and presentation skills including communicating complex technical content to a range of audiences
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Excellent attention to details in reviewing data. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
  • Be a self-starter, proactively taking the initiative to solve problems and providing resolutions
  • Show good analytical skills and an aptitude for problem-solving
  • Be able to travel up to 20% both domestically and internationally
  • Good to have or pursuing an accounting and/or audit certification, such as CPA, CIA, CMA
